I made this picture on a hazy Saturday afternoon while exploring my old hometown. Off in the distance is the Wilshire district of Los Angeles, California. In the foreground you have the iconic Griffith Observatory. This location has been featured in countless movies and television shows over the decades. With the typical Southern California haze filling the sky this day, I felt the picture worked better in black and white. I do have the color version if you are interested.
