Description
The Louvre Museum is one of the most famous and visited sites in Paris, France, and is home to one of the most impressive and vast collections of art in many mediums throughout the wings of its buildings. Boasting collections from the 12th Century, through the Renaissance and right through to contemporary art, the Louvre attracts art lovers and tourists from across the globe. Starring in the film "The Da Vinci Code" and hosting Leonardo Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" has only added to this art museum's fame. In the foreground of this image of the Parisian street scape at the Louvre are the post-modern style glass pyramids. The Louvre's stone buildings stand to the left and the Parisian skyline can be seen outlined in the background with the famous Ferris wheel. The photograph has been doctored to appear as an architect's or engineer's blueprint.
