Deer fawn, rendered with flat, straight edged shapes. Stylistically, it draws on japanese, mid-century modern, and craftsman influences. The green, blue and brown shapes are muted for a soothing effect. Here in Oregon, a nice balance of sun and rain provide what the forest needs to support the deer as it to grows and flourishes. It's a celebration of young life!
