Description
Eastern State Penitentiary - This is a typical jail cell from 1829, It was designed for one person, had a small slot of light in the ceiling, and a bed. Interestingly enough they had plumbing and heating even before the white house did. This was the first jail to introduce silence as opposed to forced labor. So all you prisoners out there with Internet access - you have this place to thank for your current jail.
