Description
As I drive along highway 21, northbound out of Goderich, Ontario. The beautiful landscapes bring you in closer to the true essence of what our pioneers adapted to. Looking to the left to see the water of Lake Huron and the beautiful sunset, to the right to see the farming land.
But wait, what is that ahead in the distance?
Is that a giant windmill. Cool, it looks like there should be X-Wing fighters swarming around it, for it looks like something right out of Star Wars.
These wind turbines have created a lot of controversy since being erected.
The monstrous white wind turbines are they good for us or are they bad?
"Who's Right"?
Is it the humans who are effected by the noise or wind turbine syndrome.
What about the humans that say they are an eye sore and the decreasing property value.
Is it the companies who erected them, to harness the great element of wind, to give us light?
Is it these companies who are trying to help us to create jobs and cleaner energy?
Are we ready for a new change in our existence, seeing monstrous white "Star Wars" like windmills within our beautiful landscape fields. Is it unkind towards humans and Mother Nature herself, does it damage her great being along with us? Does it really affect us? Do they really do their part?
Whos Right?
Is this future of green energy the only answer? Is it the safest? Most cost effective? So many questions.Perhaps the safest options for all of us is to focus on, is reducing our energy consumption ?
