This abstract watercolor painting reflects the dilemma that I foresee myself addressing as I continue with the Ocean Song Series--intended to reflect both the amazing complexities of the oceans and their ecology and also to honor those who are helping to preserve them. The dilemma is this: as a follower of Jesus' teachings-what is my role in helping with the ocean ecology crises? This painting captures my heartfelt pain as I learn of the dire straits that the oceans are in, and the path that I see that I am to walk
