This watercolor painting is part of the Ocean Songs series that represents my heart's cry for the preservation and restoration of the oceans. This painting is intended to honor those who are creating New Beginnings in Ocean Ecology. Groups like Oceana and individuals like Sylvia Earle are amazing role models as well as fantastic sources of information about the ocean ecology challenges that we face today. There is a new shape in the center, a new entity, and ripples around it are similar to the embryo and its womb. May we all be able to grow, create new ideas that ripple out and generate beauty in our world.
