Description

This painting is one of the Ocean Song series and it reflects my deep appreciation for the work done by Oceana and other ocean preservation nonprofit organizations. While most of the watercolor paintings in this series are mainly red or orange, this is predominately blue--as is our planet as seen from afar. The painting shows the balance that we must strive for to protect land, air and sea. The eyes are also in the form of fish, or Christian emblems, and the pupil of each eye is colored to represent the different races of people on this wonderful (and wonder-filled) world we share.
